Spring 2021: We will announce our plans for Scholarship Work Day later in the school year. Please check this page for more information on how to get involved, or check your email and our social media channels for information soon.
Each October, Family Weekend brings parents, grandparents, and siblings to campus for several days packed with opportunities to share in school life. The weekend includes CRMS’s fundraising event - OysterBASH, which is a silent auction, and Coffee House, a musical talent show featuring students and faculty. Most of the silent auction items are created by our talented CRMS faculty, students, and alumni.
Fall 2020: OysterBASH went online—making for a fantastic auction that raised over $45,000 for the CRMS Arts and Active Programs! Thanks to all of our sponsors, and to the hundreds of generous families and alumni who joined in the auction fun!
Fall 2021: Check back here for information on the next OysterBASH. If you have questions or ideas, please contact Lindsay Pfaffmann, Director of Annual Giving.
As the holiday season gets underway, we hope you'll encourage your family and friends to join the movement to support nonprofit organizations like CRMS.
GivingTuesday, December 1, 2020, is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people to transform their communities. The idea is simple: GivingTuesday encourages people to do good during the holiday season by contributing to the organizations they love.
Colorado Gives Day, December 8, 2020, enables you to "give where you live" - to support organizations like CRMS in Colorado. Donations can be scheduled in advance of December 8, and thanks to the $1 Million Incentive Fund every donation is increased in value.
For both giving events, we are highlighting these three programs this giving season or unrestricted gifts provide the most flexibility for CRMS.
- High School High Scholar [HS]2 - CRMS's rigorous STEM-based summer enrichment program for first-generation and/or low-income minority students.
- Scholarships - Each year CRMS awards close to $3 million in need-based financial aid to 40% of the student body.
- Outdoor Orientation “Wilderness” - CRMS's signature program introduces new students to the schools' values of respect, responsibility, and excellence through a 10-day backpacking trip.
- Unrestricted Gift - Your gift will have an impact on the area of greatest need and will help benefit the student experience.
Every gift - $5 to $5,000 - makes a difference!
