WHAT OUR STUDENTS & PARENTS ARE SAYING
CRMS educates the whole student. Graduates continue to be life-long learners and responsible citizens of the world. It’s a unique and powerful education in the Rocky Mountains.
Fantastic school with fantastic programs. This school has a special place in my heart.
Our son’s advisor has been an extension of our family. He is responsive, mindful, and committed to helping our son grow. We continue to be grateful that he is surrounded by so many people who demonstrate hard work, compassion, and joy.
UPCOMING EVENTS
New Family Orientation
New Family Orientation helps families transition into the school by informing them about the academic, outdoor, sports, and service programs as well as other aspects of student and residential life. It is an opportunity for parents to meet their child’s advisor, become acquainted with the Wilderness Orientation leader and group, and connect with other faculty, administrators, and staff. Parents will also be able to help their boarding students move into their dorm rooms. Families will be provided with a detailed schedule closer to the orientation day. During the afternoon, students will spend time meeting with their Wilderness Orientation groups and begin preparations for the 10-day backpacking trip. At the end of this day, boarding students will return to the dorms for the evening and day students will go home with their families. All students will meet back on campus the following morning for a full day of on-campus orientation programming and preparations for Wilderness. (This is just for students—there are no parent activities on this day.) On the third day, all new students will depart on their Wilderness trip and embark on this incredible adventure together before officially starting the school year!
Wilderness Orientation
Wilderness groups depart on Thursday, August 22, and return on Saturday, August 31.
