Levia Nahary

Director of College Counseling

BA, Communications/English Education, University of Scranton

MS, Higher Education Administration, West Chester University

Appointed 2026

Levia Nahary joins CRMS as our new Director of College Counseling. Levia brings more than two decades of experience in college counseling, including serving as Director of College Counseling at Bishop Blanchet High School, Sonoma Academy, and JiaXiang International High School in Chengdu, China. She has also held college counseling positions at Santa Fe Preparatory School and Albuquerque Academy. Alongside her school-based work, she has maintained a private practice advising students and families in the U.S. and internationally.

Her foundational work in college admissions – as a Regional Director at the University of Pennsylvania and an Associate Director at Bryn Mawr College – continues to inform how she guides students and families through the college search and application process.

Levia’s approach to college counseling is grounded in listening, transparency, trust and strategy, helping students move toward clarity and ownership as they make intentional decisions about life after high school. She has extensive experience guiding students through the full arc of the college process, from career exploration and academic planning to essay development, financial aid, and application strategy. Her background spans U.S., Canadian, and international application systems, and she has worked with students at a wide range of schools and with diverse goals. A longtime active leader in NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling) and RMACAC (The Rocky Mountain Association for College Admission Counseling), she is deeply connected to the national college counseling community.

Levia will be available to support students with questions about the college search and application process starting June 1, 2026. During the summer, she will be available virtually and encourages students and families to reach out early, though response times may be slightly delayed. She will be available on campus beginning August 3, 2026. Please feel free to reach out to her directly via email.
