A New England native, Jed Breen grew up in Rye and Exeter, New Hampshire. Before coming to CRMS, Jed gained experience working with students in a variety of settings. He led trips for Adventure Treks and the Chewonki Foundation, served as a teaching assistant at the Phillips Andover Summer Session, and worked as a ski and kayaking instructor at Plymouth State University. He has also coached lacrosse, hockey, soccer, and cross country at the middle and high school level.

Growing up in a family of educators, Jed believes the outdoors are the perfect medium for the inter- and intrapersonal development essential for high school students. He is deeply inspired by the philosophies of CRMS founders, the Holdens, and looks forward to embodying their message within the school’s vibrant community.
