Makai

My name is Makai, and I am a graduate of CRMS from Carbondale, CO. I was involved with the climbing team for all four years at CRMS and served as captain my senior year. My favorite class was Advanced Spanish, which I took for two years in a row. I loved learning the language and appreciated that Dan switched up the curriculum so returning students could continue growing. After taking AP US History, I also led the APUSH review sessions to help students in the class. One of my favorite experiences at CRMS was serving as a Wilderness Assistant Student Leader for incoming students. I also enjoyed giving tours to prospective students as part of the A-Team, running with the cross-country team in the fall, and playing music both in and outside of class.
