BA, MS, Physics - Ernst-Moritz-Arndt Universitat Greifswald (Germany)

MS, Physics - Montana State University

Appointed 2022

Volker is a proud relic of the Cold War. He grew up in East Germany and in the early 1990s, came to the US to study physics in Montana. He enjoyed the mountains and time at Montana State and then migrated East to teach at two different boarding schools. He has taught physics and a variety of electives throughout the years. He has also coached many different sports. In his free time, he likes to read, listen to classical music, run, hike, and travel. He is excited to return to the mountains of the beautiful West and work with students both in and outside the classroom at CRMS.
