Nina V.

My name is Nina, and I’m a tenth-grade day student. I’ve lived in Carbondale my entire life. I came to CRMS as a self-proclaimed overzealous environmentalist and fostered that passion by joining the CRMS Environmental Club and Global Connections Education Initiative. I am always excited to spend time in nature and am on the CRMS bike team in the fall and spring. I am a competitive nordic skier with AVSC, and play the cello (badly). I love my Honors English class because of its perspective on gender inequality in old literature and its focus on the broader sides of writing in history. I also find great joy in the arts, especially my painting and drawing class, for the freedom they bring.
