Appointed 2023
After growing up in Southern Oregon, Paige moved to Utah to pursue her passion for rock climbing and skiing. While attending the University of Utah, she acquired a BA in Geography with a focus in emergency medicine, wilderness medicine, and snow science. This coursework led her to a decade of seasonal work as a ski patroller and whitewater raft guide. After moving to Carbondale, Paige went back to school for her masters in education with an emphasis in leadership at Western State Colorado University. Her previous roles in education have been homeroom teacher, backcountry trip leader, outdoor program coordinator, and project manager. She is thrilled to put all of her experiences and skills together in her new role of Director of Active Curriculum.
