Colorado Rocky Mountain School has more than 35 unrestricted, restricted, and quasi-endowment funds that have been started and built over the years by donors who wanted to ensure that funding would always be in place for the school. Endowments are for academic, outdoor, and arts programs; faculty salaries, positions and professional development; maintenance of the physical plant; and financial aid and scholarships. Each year, 5% of the endowments are used for their designated purpose. The stronger the endowment, the more the school is able to recruit and retain a diverse student body and a highly qualified faculty and staff, as well as to grow and maintain facilities, in order to share the transformational Colorado Rocky Mountain School education.
