Annual Fund
"I support Colorado Rocky Mountain School through the Annual Fund because I see CRMS as one of the most important (and enjoyable) chapters in my life's story. I often refer to CRMS when describing a key turning point in my life, and I know that to be true for the majority of people who've spent time there. I continue to find CRMS challenging, invigorating, and nurturing. It is a leading-edge community of teachers, students, and environment whose synergy creates inspiration, awareness, and renowned achievement." --Dan Piburn ’83

Gifts to the Colorado Rocky Mountain School Annual Fund provide upwards of 10% of the school's income each year. In effect, the Annual Fund provides each student with a silent scholarship, since tuition only covers a portion of the cost of educating each child. The Annual Fund is vital for Colorado Rocky Mountain School’s extraordinary academic, outdoor, work, and campus life programs.
The Annual Fund supports all aspects of the operations of the school. Strong participation from parents and alumni is key to the school’s success in attracting support from foundations, as well as gifts from major contributors. All gifts count, whether large or small. Unrestricted gifts provide the school with the greatest flexibility, but gifts may be directed to any of these funds:
- Academic Studies
- Reunion Gift
- Faculty Salaries
- Sports
- Financial Aid
- Technology
- Head’s Discretionary
- Wilderness and Trips
- Professional Development
- Work Crews and Physical Plant
