The Painting and Drawing class is part of our afternoon active program. Active instructors are scheduled to teach their class, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 2 hours per day from 3:15 - 5:15 p.m., on the following days
• Week 1: June 25, 26
• Week 2: June 29, 30, July 3
• Week 3: July 6, 7, 9, 10
• Week 4: July 13, 14, 16, 17
• Week 5: July 20, 21, 23
Active instructors are considered faculty and are expected to attend faculty and program meetings. They are not required to do study halls or dorm duty.
: Strong teaching candidates have significant teaching experience, a mastery of painting and drawing, and genuinely enjoy working with high school students. Salary is commensurate with teaching experience.
New faculty and TAs will arrive on campus Wednesday, June 17, and returning faculty will arrive on campus no later than Thursday, June 18. All faculty will depart July 25-26. (HS)² third-year students will arrive on campus Saturday, June 20 for a leadership seminar, and first and second-year students will arrive on Monday, June 22. All students depart campus on Saturday, July 25.

After your application has been received, you will be contacted via email to inform you of your applicant status, and if appropriate, to set up an interview. Interviews will likely be conducted over the phone or via Skype. When deciding to accept an offer of a position, applicants should remember that, although the (HS)² summer session is only five weeks, it is an intense, rigorous, and challenging program for both students and faculty.
