CRMS Strives to be a Diverse and Inclusive Community
Diversity
School CompositionColorado Rocky Mountain School prides itself on enrolling a rich and diverse student body. Current students represent 24 states and 14 countries, including Korea, Japan, China, Rwanda, and Mexico; 65% are boarding students and 35% are day students; and 55% are boys and 45% are girls. CRMS uses its generous financial-aid program to ensure that students from all income levels are able to attend.
Commitment to Diversity
Colorado Rocky Mountain School admits students of any race, color, religion, sexual orientation, or national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, or national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, scholarship, athletic, and other school-administered programs.
CRMS is committed to being an inclusive community that honors, supports, and embodies diversity. This is one of the seven goals in our Strategic Plan. Attached please find the strategies surrounding this goal.
Financial Aid for Diverse Students
Colorado Rocky Mountain School is also able to promote diversity in the student body through the financial-aid program. CRMS has a long history of education about and involvement in the Native American culture. Generous donations from alumni and parents have funded endowments that support three Native American scholarships. CRMS is also working to support Latino scholarships through the Annual Fund and a new endowment.
