Volunteering

Alumni all over the country help oysters and pearls stay connected to Colorado Rocky Mountain School through their various volunteer roles. There are many ways you can get involved!

Class Reps
Help keep your classmates connected and supporting our school by becoming a class rep. Class reps call and e-mail classmates twice a year, to gather pledges to the Annual Fund and news for school publications.

Phonathon Caller
If you live in the Roaring Fork Valley or on the Front Range and have limited time, joining phonathon outreach evenings throughout the year are a tremendous help to our school. Alumni gather for these school-planned outreach nights in the fall and spring to encourage other alumni to support the Annual Fund and gather news. Make sure the school has your updated e-mail address in order to get notices of these events.

Chapter Chairs
Plan casual, social alumni gatherings in your area by volunteering as a regional chapter chair. All you need is an e-mail account and the willingness to reach out. The alumni office will help you with the rest!

Admission Network
We rely on enthusiastic friends and alumni to spread the word about CRMS to prospective students and their families. Join our admission network of current parents and alumni and help CRMS find students from your area.

Reunion Ambassadors
Assist in gathering your classmates for the next reunion.

Host a Student on Senior Project
Care to mentor a student in your chosen career? Each Spring, during their Senior Projects, seniors study a field they are interested in pursuing for three weeks. If you would like to share your expertise with a student, contact us with details. Popular areas of interest include (but are not limited to): Filmmaking, Eco-careers, Photography, Performing Arts, Entertainment, TV, Radio, Journalism, Agriculture, Horticulture, Politics, Earth Sciences, and Veterinary Studies.

Speak at a School Meeting
Would you like to share your expertise or adventures with our current students? Contact the alumni office and tell us about it! We typically need about a six-month advance notice to plan accordingly for school meetings.
