About
The High School - High Scholar Program
The (HS)
2 Summer Program offers 45 African American, Latino, and Native American public school students from targeted cities across the United States the opportunity to immerse themselves in the study of mathematics, science, and English for three consecutive summers at Colorado Rocky Mountain School.
The program is free to all students who are accepted and all (HS)2 students begin the program the summer following 9th grade; therefore, they must be in 9th grade when they apply. (HS)2 is designed to work in tandem with the public school system to provide the scholars with appropriate and rigorous challenges to better prepare them for college and careers in engineering, science, medicine, computers, and other technical fields.
